Here's a little Kiwi music. It's the song "One Day" by a band called Op Shop (that's what thrift stores here are called). The song's been used for the postal service commercials here for a while (which you can also find on youtube). Probably my favorite piece of NZ music so far, outside the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra. And Flight of the Conchords (of course).

Current Project
I'm studying the contemporary evolution of spawning time and population genetics of rainbow trout at Lake Taupo. The hope is that my study will eventually culminate in some insight into salmonids ability to rapidly adapt to changes in their environment.
